When first starting online dating you should start by writing down a list of qualities that you like and dislike in a person. Dislikes are as important as likes.
Get a piece of paper, draw a line down the middle on one side write the qualities you like in a person and on the other side write the qualities you dislike and look back to these when choosing a date.
A lot of people will make the mistake when dating of putting on their best behaviour, which is good but trying to be very accommodating and not your usual self is not. You are not going on a weekend break with this person you may well spend the rest of your life with them, so it’s best to try and be yourself.
And if you think you will be able to mold the bad habits out of a person later you should forget it. When you start trying to mold a person out of his or her habit’s, they may think you are just nagging and if they do stop the habit they make think you love them less for it.
It is best to have a clear idea of the qualities that you like and dislike in a person. Once you are clear about about that you will be in a better postion to make the right choice.
Remember to be natural and try to be honest with the other person, don’t tell white lies, that further down the road will make them doubt you, so be honest and they will respect you for it.
And do not worry about not finding anyone the right person for you is out there.
